Like many in Malaysia are asking: "Who the heck is "Damai Malaysia" and on what authority do they claim to speak for the silent majority. And on what basis does the Barisan goverment unquestionably accept their claim to represent 395 NGOs or their signatures? It smells of another Executive sponsored group to do its bidding. Infact there has been a lot of that lately. The atmosphere is charged with allegations, insinuations and claims that certain groups are linked to terrorists and are a threat to security. The plot has the makings of another coup de tat. We witnessed the first on May 13th 1969. Happy watching. |

He said "The silent majority has spoken. People want peace, harmony and public order. They don’t want their income or their lives to be disrupted. "
He didn't got the whole picture. The silent majority are like the lion pretend to be asleep but when the time are right, they will strike.
Who are the real silent one? Let me tell you, the rich will be the silent one. The middle class will be the sleeping lion and the poor are the one on the street now like the roaring tiger. |

Must be some crap just dug up to make the BN govt. look good, since no one have heard of them
Let them give us a full list of the Damai M'sia NGOs, then we can accept it as fact. Anyway the unnecessary police roadblocks killed the biz community businesses not the rallies. |

I think the spindoctors and their sleepy client must really think the "rakyat" (ie. citizens of Malaysia) are fools and frankly, I think the spindoctors at work here have watched too much TV. If the general election is called today, there will be some interesting figures - my guess is that whilst the ruling coalition will still be retaining the majority of seats (as a result of our electoral system where seats are determined based on areas or constituents which everyone knows has been drawn to the advantage of the ruling coalition) but however, the ruling coalition will fail to retain a majority in terms of aggregate number of votes. If and when these numbers do show, then the silent majority of the rakyat must ask themselves if they have really been taken for a ride. |

The lion is sleeping tonight - animated cartoon - kewego
Beware of the sleeping lion. The hippo (BN) and the running dog (MCA & MIC) can do whatever they like right now but once the lion awake. They will know what happen and no where to hide. |
