Perez is a douchebag. Fred Phelps should devote some "special" attention to him. |

Every one I have asked about this thinks he asked a fair question, and although he went a little over with the "B" word, we still think he is doing ok, unfortunately the fags that don't think he is a good rep. seem to be the swishy Nelly lispy fags (twinks) that frankly do more harm than good for or cause, these are the freaks that we see on Jerry Springer, and make you wish you were straight, so I think before you call him an embarrassment, or a douche bag, you need to look around, and in some cases, in the mirror, to see who is really doing more harm than good. |

Who is Perez Hilton? Are we so bereft of intelligent commentators that we are reduced to the loud and overbearing who make misogynist remarks about such women? Boo! |

One lesbian says, "The question is only as "good" as it is relevant to the context."
#1 Why would you ask a beauty contestant a hotly debated, politically charged question? She's not running for political office?
#2 If Perez Hilton has been blessed with a place in "the limelight" of media attention, and he wants to be viewed as "representative" of the LGBTQ community then he might take a serious and responsible approach to quality of the attention he draws to our community.
#3 Can anyone say, "Perpetuating-a-stereotype serves NO one" ???
#4 I was deeply disappointed by his selfish, ego-centric wanna-be-a-beauty-queen behavior and pitty his public display of stupidity.
#5 If he was representative of any "group" it would be one of ignorant, narrow minded, immature, politically incorrect biggots. His behavior selfishly put our community to shame.

I Grew up in the sixty's and seventy's. I learned about privacy and discrescion. Gays were not accepted when I was in High School. I also learned, if you want to be taken seriously you must have a legitimate argument to oppose you opposition. Perez Hilton does not represent any other gay person but himself. I am not a violent person, but I have thought maybe, just maybe, some one ought to punch him in the face for what he did to Miss California. So what if she believes in traditional marraige. I do to. I just think that two men or two women should be able to have a tradditional marraige. I have considered marraige myself. As a born again Christian, I am sure I could not find a Baptist Pastor that would marry me and my lover. but a Civil Union is a first step. Perez should be shunned by the entire Gay Community. I respect non-gay people, and they respect me. |
